One of the best ways to turn your BPO's into REO's is number one work for the right companies that will align you with those opportunities.
I look at this like I am going fishing. I've spent plenty of time with a detailed map in hand. I spend hours planning, researching and then strategizing which are the absolute very best 'fishing' holes before deciding to sink my line in and see if I get a bite. To be successful in this business you've got to do the same and then be patient enough to wait for your bobber to sink just below the surface of the water, (which indicates that you've got a fish on your line.) before jerking back your pole and trying to snag a 'big ole bass.'
Ask yourself these questions... Do you even like fishing? Do you spend time consistently educating yourself and scoping out the best places to fish? Do you know the rules that will ensure that you bring home a big catch? Do people describe you as a persistent and yet patient individual? Lastly, are you really willing and able to do whatever it takes to 'pay your dues?'
Many people think that if they get plenty of BPO work that eventually it will translate into REO listings, for most this isn't something that becomes a reality. Also, many believe that REO listings will just fall into their lap without having to work for them or pay their dues.
Successful people in this business keep their eyes and ears low the ground, they aren't afraid of a challenge and are realistic in their approach. Most of all they are great fisherman and fisherwoman!
